Guild Tabard

>>  Quintessential Loot Rules

Loot Dragon Loot Rule Key Points:
  1. All BoE items... Use the in-game interface to roll need or greed.

  2. All BoP items... Close the in-game interface without rolling.

  3. The group/raid leader will facilitate our encouraged distribution philosophy.

  4. The group/raid leader may call for /random 100 rolls if appropriate.

  5. Gatherers: /random 100 for herbs/ore/skinning order, and then use that order to switch off by turns, as agreed upon in group.

Encouraged Philosophy:

Definitions:
Need
The items' stats are an unquestionable immediate upgrade to Your current character's primary class/spec.  If won, you would immediately equip the item in question.  Voluntarily /random 100 or pass based on our encouraged philosophy.

Need (Off Set)
Discussion of the items' stats reveal that Your current character's secondary class/spec would upgrade to the item in question.  (ex: a tanks DPS set, a DPSers heal set)  Voluntarily /random 100 or pass based on our encouraged philosophy.

Greed
Any other desire to have the item.

Pass
Close the Rolling window without rolling.

BoE
Bind on Equip.

BoP
Bind on Pickup.

DE
Disenchant.  (An Enchanter destroys the item for enchanting materials.  Usually worth more than the item.)  AKA Sharding.

Ninja
Someone who maliciously loots an item that they did not win.  (an offence worthy of immediate guild removal)

What?!?!  These Rules are Crazy?!?!  Why don't we just roll?!?!  This is a Ninja's Dream Come True!!

While the games built in rolling interface is good, there are a few significant flaws with it...
  1. If the top rollers tie, the first roller wins.

  2. The game interface limits the ability to DE BoP items for more gold.

  3. Gives you more time to check your gear to see if you really need it.  Someone may need it way more than you (bigger upgrade), and you might choose give it to them in that case.  Passing gives you more time to check things out.

  4. Correct, Our rules definitely do not prevent ninjas, in fact it helps them out.  However, there are no Ninja's in this guild!  (see Ninja definition above)
